M-Projects partnered with Cousins Properties
in a proposal to redevelop Jekyll Island.
The land use combined elements of neighborhood
scale commercial/retail and residential mixed
use in the core of the Towne Center site,
with a new hotel-convention center complex
in close proximity. Several layers of higher density
residential, including an adult living complex,
along with associated amenities extended to the
north and south ends of the site. In addition to
the Towne Center site, the proposal included the
revitalization and re-configuration of the 63 hole
golf course, new residential developments
to market driven models, and amenities
stimulated by the ecostructure of the
island’s natural undeveloped areas..
